On June 1st, 2025, with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly in attendance, the Future of Egypt Authority for Sustainable Development signed the contracts for Jirian City — 1,600 feddans (6.8 million sqm) in New Zayed shared by the market's strongest private alliance: Mountain View, Palm Hills and Nations of Sky. What makes Jirian a national event rather than another compound is the water: a new 240-meter-wide Nile branch cutting through the city's heart with 9 kilometers of Nile frontage — the first fruit of the state project extending the Nile westward toward October and Zayed under the New Delta program.
